1. Introduction

Welcome to Kanari. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Kanari mobile application, operated by JAABA LLC. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use Kanari.

2. Description of Services

Kanari is an AI-powered culinary assistant dedicated to African cuisine. The services include:

Personalized weekly meal planning.
Automatic shopping list generation.
Access to a library of African recipes.
An AI culinary assistant (Amina) to guide you.
A community sharing space.

3. User Accounts

To use Kanari, you must create an account with a valid phone number or email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Kanari offers a free version and premium subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed according to the chosen period (monthly or yearly). Payments are processed securely through Wave, Orange Money, Stripe, and other Mobile Money operators.

Prices are displayed in the app and may vary based on your country of residence. JAABA LLC reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. User Content

By posting content on Kanari (recipes, comments, photos), you retain your intellectual property rights but grant JAABA LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote this content within the app. You agree not to post illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Kanari app, its design, features, source code, original recipes, and brand are the exclusive property of JAABA LLC. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kanari provides its services “as is.” Recipes and nutritional advice are provided for informational purposes and do not replace professional medical advice. JAABA LLC shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the app. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. JAABA LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you will lose access to your stored data and content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
